Welcome to Thorney Motorsport. We are a specialist BMW and Vauxhall tuning firm, a Milltek Sport exhaust distributor and retailer, and owner of the Car Tuner Grand Prix events. We also help run the VX220 Owners Site, are technical partner to the BMW Owners Club (supporting all their better driving days) and are the official distributor for the Vauxhall VXR range of performance exhausts.

Our BMW tuning comes from a long history with the E46 M3 and widened into the other M Sport models and beyond. We only develop and test using our own cars - we run an E39 M5 and an E46 CSL as demonstrators and race our own E46 M3 race car in the Dunlop SportMaxx Championship.

Our Vauxhall tuning has been borne from our strong relationship with Vauxhall Motors culminating in our appointment as the UK's only specialist tuning firm with full warranty approval as an authorised service and repair centre.

Our Vauxhall tuning work has grown out of our owning, modifying and racing our own VX220 Turbo where we have developed the entire car from scratch with everything from AP Racing brake kits to full exhaust systems. The development has been undertaken with the full consultation with Vauxhall Motors to the extent that much of our development has been adopted for the VXR range as official performance upgrades, this has culminated in our appointment as a fully warranty approved Vauxhall approved repairer, so we are the only tuning firm authorised to stamp your book and keep your warranty.

We design, develop and distribute BMW, Vauxhall and Lotus exhausts for Milltek Sport for the UK and Europe. We are the exclusive distributor for these marques for the UK.

Home is a custom designed 7000sf workshop in the centre of Milton Keynes. Here we have an 4500bhp rolling road utilising a Dyno Dynamics dyno and the largest airflow fans in Europe, a 4 ramp workshop, engine building, computerised four wheel alignment and a superb customer reception where we have internet, DVD, PS2 and a panoramic window overlooking the workshop so you can watch while we enhance or service your car.

We have a simple attitude on car development, if it doesn't work we won't sell it and it only works if we prove it does so on our own cars, we don't believe in supplying or fitting something unless we are sure of its effect and the only way to confirm this success is to test comprehensively, something we obviously spend many hours on.

Customers come to us because they know we test everything before we release it and because they want more performance from their car, this extends to the fuel you use. We are the only tuning or motorsport company to actively test all the performance fuels available - purely selfish reasons; for us to give you more power we need your car to run as well as it possibly can.

Finally we also believe passionately in customer care. People who modify their cars care about them and enthusiastic owners like to deal with enthusiastic tuning firms - we are certainly that! However at the same time we pride ourselves on a level of professionalism and attention to detail that not only reflects this enthusiasm but also provides a level of care to be proud of.

After extensive testing we recommend the use of Tesco 99 octane fuel in your car - certainly makes our job easier!
