VX220 Servicing

Thorney Motorsport are the UK's only VX220 tuning specialist within the Vauxhall network - we tune them, race them, crash repair them and service them, so you could say we know them pretty well.

We are fully Vauxhall approved to service the VX220 range but we offer two kinds of servicing for all the Vauxhall range - standard Vauxhall servicing and TMS enhanced.

Standard Vauxhall Service

Exactly that - by the book to meet your warranty requirements, your service book is stamped with an approved Vauxhall stamp and your car maintained 100% to Vauxhall Motors high expectations.

Thorney Motorsport Enhanced Service

We pride ourselves on the concept that the car is the customer and not the owner and whilst Vauxhall are pretty good at setting very reasonable and sensible levels of servicing there are various areas where we consider a more caring approach to car care can be adopted, for example some spark plugs are not due for a change under standard Vauxhall servicing until 80,000 miles.....we think the relative performance of such items will degrade well before that time frame.

A TMS Enhanced service checks and changes such items as brake fluid, plugs and other items which may not ordinarily be changed under a standard Vauxhall option. Its not about changing things for no reason, its about checking the health of the car and fixing what needs to be fixed rather than by a rigid service interval based approach.
