Welcome to Thorney Motorsport, we are the UK's premier tuner for modern BMW's. We specialise in the complete enhancement for all motorsport BMW's from simple ECU remaps to complete race car preparation. We also offer a complete servicing package using BMW approved parts and lubricants so your warranty is maintained.

In addition to our tuning operations we are also the exclusive distributor for the Milltek Sport range of sports exhausts, we supply these to other tuning firms, dealers and direct to the customer. We run track days for a variety of owners clubs, provide driver training and run the Tuner Grand Prix event each year where tuning firms compete against one another round the track.

Our history is borne out of the E46 M3 (we've owned 5 thus far) where we were one of the first companies to actually engineer tuning packages rather than concentrate on visual upgrades (we're now playing catch up in that regard) and especially develop track packages for the model. The E46 is pretty compromised in standard form for track work so we've expanded our expertise to cover the E36 models where we have been successful in developing a range of upgrades specifically for track and race.

We ran our own E46 M3 race car in the Kumho BMW Championship in 2008, in 2009 we shall be running 4 cars in the CSLCup where we run the same upgrades as we provide for customer upgrades so you know we know they work. The CSL has become a speciality of ours through the E46 work we have undertaken with the effect that we've tuned or modified over 100 CSL's in the UK (not a bad percentage considering there are only 422 in the UK), we're now accepted as the UK's leading specialist in the CSL (helped by the fact we own our own one). We're especially proud of the fact that we're expert in complete vehicle upgrades, not just bolt on power.

Home is a 7,000sf workshop in the centre of Milton Keynes, where we have created a £750,000 workshop complete with 2400bhp Dyno Dynamics dyno cell. Here we develop all of our tuning packages and run complete before and after diagnostic runs after all ther work undertaken - get visible proof of what we do rather than just take our word for it! We have a comfortable reception where you can watch your car being worked on in the workshop or alternatively play on the PS2, watch DVD's, surf the web or pretend you're at work via our secure wireless network. We also have courtesy cars available or we can drop you into Milton Keynes where you can shop until you drop or go snowboarding.
