New Logo & Website - WHY?
by Thorney Motorsport Tue, 18 May 2010 16:34
Well Thorney Motorsport have been going for nearly 10 years
now and during this time we’ve always had the thorns as our corporate
logo so
we figured it was time for a change. The thorns will always be part of
our
brand, hard not to have them really considering the name but you have to
adapt
and change with times and we wanted a sharper, more aggressive logo that
would
suit being on cars (race and road) more than the thorns do.

Insignia VXR - Development
by John Thorne Fri, 30 Oct 2009 13:00
Sometimes it takes a drive on a familiar road to make you
realise when a car is good or not, the knowledge of a certain road, camber,
corner, roundabout, dual carriageway that you’ve driven countless times before
in a variety of machinery that allows you to make direct comparisons that result
in a conclusion and its taken this for me to make a conclusion on the Insignia
VXR.

Martin leading Gill at Donington.
Following the hugely successful first season the CSL Cup
will be attending the two day Race Car Live event at Brands Hatch. Race Car

Technical representatives from Thorney Motorsport and the CSL Cup technical
committee will be on hand for both days to give any advice on car builds for
next season as well as explaining the new technical regulations for the new
models being accepted into the CSL Cup next season...

cold tyres and some oil down on the circuit meant we spun off at Abbey
corner on Silverstone GP circuit. Unluckily enough we managed to avoid
the tyre wall and slammed sideways into a concrete retaining wall at
over 60mph, this was the result...
