Welcome to Thorney Motorsport, the UK's only fully Vauxhall approved authorised service and repair centre who specialise in the tuning and race preparation of Vauxhall cars. We specialise in tuning and enhancing the full range of Vauxhall vehicles from simple ECU remaps to complete race car preparation upgrading power, handling and braking performance as well as being able to service your car and keep your Vauxhall warranty intact, TMS is the same as a Vauxhall dealer, we just don't sell cars.

In addition to our tuning operations we are also exclusive distributor for the Milltek Sport range of sports exhausts which have been adopted by Vauxhall Motors for the VXR range as the official sports exhaust, we supply these direct to the dealers, other tuning firms and direct to the customer. We run track days for a variety of owners clubs, provide driver training and run the Tuner Grand Prix event each year where the tuning firms compete against one another round the track.

As befits our unique status as approved Vauxhall service and repair centre we supply and fit the complete range of Irmscher upgrades which we also sell on line in our on line marketplace as well as offer complete Vauxhall approved servicing on the entire Vauxhall range - its not just the sports models we cover.

Our history is borne out of the VX220 where we were the first to enhance the car, we founded the VX220 Owers site which has now grown to over 4000 members and have spent the last 7 years developing the 2.2 and 2.0 Turbo models to extreme levels of performance.

Our Astra G experience is a direct evolution from our work with the VX220, whilst they are very different cars their share a similar engine and similar issues as regards braking but require a completely different approach to handling and cooling. The first models we tuned were the 888 version and the SRI where we've had excellent proven success in generating excellent power and chassis enhancements. We pride ourselves on the smoothness of power delivery rather than chasing numbers to be quoted in the pub, power is about driving not statistics. However, our power packs generate some of the highest power upgrades available.

Our Astra H experience is more of a direct consequence from our relationship with Vauxhall. Vauxhall Motors kindly supplied us with one of the first cars for development and as a result we've developed an extensive range of tuning packages for the car. These tuning options compliment the VXR range of tuning that Vauxhall themselves have done (VXR brakes from AP Racing) and we supply and fit all these options also.

We have an extensive range of specialist diesel tuning options for all the Vauxhall range where an extra 50bhp/50llb's of torque can be added with complete ease. Common to all our work is an attention to detail as enthusiast owners expect, the customer reception overlooks the workshop so you can watch your car being prepared as well as take advantage of complimentary tea and coffee, PS2 and DVD's, internet access and even a wireless connection so you can pretend you're at work while we enhance your car. Alternatively we can drop you into Milton Keynes where you can shop until you drop or even go snowboarding. We also offer courtesy cars if needed.

Our £1m workshop boasts one of the most advanced dyno cells in Europe and as part of all or ECU tuning we conduct a full before and after diagnostics runs on your car to both ensure it is performing as expected but also check everything is correct, we also provides the dyno charts of car before and after the work showing both power and torque at the flywheels and at the wheels. We run our own Astra VXR and Corsa VXR demonstrators, so you can experience the range of tuning we do.
