Who are Thorney Vauxhall?

We'll be honest, we are a little different to your average Vauxhall dealer, for a start we don't sell cars we just work on them to ensure they are performing as Vauxhall intended (sometimes better), this means we're not looking to sell you a car or tell you your needs replacing just honest, high quality work on your car to keep it running perfectly. We are also a lot smaller in size than most Vauxhall dealers, we don't have 20 ramps and thirty technicians which means that we can be a little busier than other dealers so please bear that in mind. The good news is that even our most junior technician has over 4 years experience and works on our race cars as much as he works on yours, on average all of our technicians have over 7 years Vauxhall experience - in other words, you will not have a junior tech working on your car - we don't have any junior techs!

 

Yes, thats right, race cars. As well as regular servicing we also run a successful Vauxhall and BMW race car team. We are currently running a BMW M3 in the Kumho Championship, a pair of Vauxhall VX220's in the Britcar Championship and a Vauxhall Corsa SRI and Vauxhall Astra VXR in the Dunlop Sportmaxx Championship, indeed our VX220 just finished the Silverstone 24 hour race and our Corsa recently won the Dunlop SportMaxx Championship. Importantly the same technicians who build, prepare and maintain these race cars the same technicians who will work on your own car - they are that good.

 

We also offer a complete range of vehicle upgrades from ECU remaps to increase the power and fuel economy of your engine as well as handling upgrades, alloy wheels, suspension upgrades you name it, we can take your road car right up to a race car should you want to. As a company we have been going for almost 10 years, we moved to Milton Keynes from London three years ago into a custom designed workshop facility in Redmoor. We are a family owned operation and as such our aim is to offer the ultimate in customer care; treat people as we would wish to be treated ourselves. To promote this we designed our entire workshop around our customer waiting area, here you watch your car being worked on in the workshop via a large three meter viewing window - we have nothing to hide so we encourage you to see what we do. Of course watching your car being worked on can be a little dull so we also offer free internet, a wireless network (so you can pretend to be at work while we service your car), Sky TV, DVD's and a Playstation 2 to keep you entertained. Of course we all have busy lives so if you would rather we dropped you into town for some shopping or even to your place of work or home then we are happy to help. We also offer a complete courtesy car service should you require although these do need to be booked in advance.

With us being a little different to most dealers it is worth re-iterating, we are fully Vauxhall approved, this means that we can service your car, stamp your book and your warranty is completely maintained, we can also conduct any warranty work your car might need without it costing you a penny, we are a Vauxhall dealer who just doesn't sell cars. At the same time we are small, friendly and like to think that Vauxhall owners need looking after properly, we aim to do this for each customer we see.
