We put the M3 and CSL together as they share a lot of characteristics but with ECU remapping they are very different. With the M3 we can gain around 10bhp with remap which isnt a huge amount of power but it does smooth out the power delivery and improve the sharpness in the throttle, it feels a bit like when you turn the sport button on and off.
With the CSL with its Alpha N ‘type’ mapping we gain approximately the same power and torque (20NM) as well as the same feeling.
Before we undertake any mapping work we first run a full diagnostic check on the car.
